Conflict of interest procedures

1. TFP does not accept submissions authored or co-authored by any individual editing the resulting formal proceedings.
2. A submission the PC chair has a conflict of interest with will be handled as followed:
   1. If the symposium chair does not have a conflict of interest with the submission, he or she supervises the discussion for that submission during the screening and reviewing phases.
   2. If the symposium chair has a conflict of interest with the submission, he or she will contact the steering committee chair to select a steering committee member or external expert to supervise the discussion of that submission during the screening and reviewing phases.
